Assisination in Dubai - or Arab media circus

Does anyone take the UAE seriously? Dubai is a joke, especially when it comes to law enforcement- take these 3 cases: 1)UAE refused to investigate the gang rape of a French teenage boy (http://abcnews.go.com/2020/story?id=3932740&page=1) by several men, instead, they blamed the victim for being a homosexual "deviant" 2) The Russians killed a chechen leader (Sulim Yamadayev, yet Dubai did NOTHING about it, they know better (i.e. afraid of Russia)
3) A British couple was arrested for making out on the beach in Dubai, which has the audacity to claim it is a tourist hot-spot!! DUbai/UAE is an enemy country to Israel, therefore Israel has NO need or desire to answer its obviously biased and slanderous attacks against it in the world media (which itself is hungry for anti-israel and anti-Jewish rhetoric!).
As for the EU's disproportionate response to this media circus, I think they should give it a rest already! - especially Ireland, which seems to already convict Israel without ANY proof!
And what the heck does Egypt have to do with all this? The UAE is asking Egypt to scold Israel for supposed moles working - where? - in the PALESTINIAN AUTHORITY! - if this is not an Arab circus, i don't know what is!

"Torah Study" scholarships now tax exempt

this makes me want to vomit- rather than encourage these parasites to work, they are enabling them to not educate themselves and forever become wards of the state... further move toward Israelistan...

the israeli success story

The last part was a bit foreboding, but i think if entrepreneurs wanted to leave, they would have done it by now. I don't its Iran that will make them leave, but rather Shas and their Haredi allies who seek to create an environment that will drive these people away...

The talibanisation of Israel

Businesses to lose license if Jews caught working on sabbath?!

Why is it that in Israel, rather than enforcing a law- like not selling alcohol to minors and forcing workers to work illegal hours or days, the Knesset decides to make more laws that will oppress its law-abiding citizens?!!

If the State just hired a few more people in the urban areas and enforced its own (NON-RELIGIOUS) labor laws, then the problem would be solved!.
Shas is only trying to make the country into another Iran/saudi Arabia. It is using excuses like protecting workers to further their own superstitious, backward beliefs in making Israel some sort of a theocracy!! The middle class already suffers enough from Haredi refusal to even consider working for a living; and consequently a huge tax burden falls on us - the middle class, who work for a living and have to support 40% of the population that refuses to work!
We don't need any more Haredi laws!! We want less laws and less government intervention! We want capitalism free trade, lower taxes, rule and enforcement of current laws and direct, constituent representation!!!

Shabbat non-oberservers "beasts"!?

Nice to know Israel has such nice, educated, and thoughtful "rabbis" like Ovadia Yosef!
