The last part was a bit foreboding, but i think if entrepreneurs wanted to leave, they would have done it by now. I don't its Iran that will make them leave, but rather Shas and their Haredi allies who seek to create an environment that will drive these people away...

The talibanisation of Israel
Businesses to lose license if Jews caught working on sabbath?!
Why is it that in Israel, rather than enforcing a law- like not selling alcohol to minors and forcing workers to work illegal hours or days, the Knesset decides to make more laws that will oppress its law-abiding citizens?!!
If the State just hired a few more people in the urban areas and enforced its own (NON-RELIGIOUS) labor laws, then the problem would be solved!.
Shas is only trying to make the country into another Iran/saudi Arabia. It is using excuses like protecting workers to further their own superstitious, backward beliefs in making Israel some sort of a theocracy!! The middle class already suffers enough from Haredi refusal to even consider working for a living; and consequently a huge tax burden falls on us - the middle class, who work for a living and have to support 40% of the population that refuses to work!
We don't need any more Haredi laws!! We want less laws and less government intervention! We want capitalism free trade, lower taxes, rule and enforcement of current laws and direct, constituent representation!!!

Shabbat non-oberservers "beasts"!?
Nice to know Israel has such nice, educated, and thoughtful "rabbis" like Ovadia Yosef!

Alternative 2 state solution
New alternative guidelines for a peace treaty would see a United States of Jordan incorporated the Hashemite Kingdom and the Palestinian parts of the West Bank. check out it out: http://www.haaretz.com/hasen/spages/1141343.html
Lebanese government is really a Hizbollah government
Now why would the US allow Hizbollah's propaganda news channel, al Manar, which is openly anti-semitic, anti Western and anti-American broadcast to American Muslims- do we need them to be radicalized like their compatriots in Western Europe?
I think the answer from the US will be a resounding NO! (I hope...)

Iron Dome Defense Shield
SO it seems the Iron dome works, each battery, however, which can protect a city the size of Sdereot, costs only NIS 50 million (see link below), but it seems we can't afford it? that's what, $13 million?! I can't believe there aren't jews in the world with the money and network of friends to raise the money to buy like a dozen of these batteries... it's just sad to think they don't care about their own people being randomly murdered by Jihadist terrorists...
the same goes for the development of the Magic Wand missile shield, which defends against longer range missiles. Why can't we ask Diaspora Jews and/or the 18 Israeli Oligarchi families to pay to develop this defense system more expediently? Why does the price of life and death rest only on the shoulders of the (already squeezed) professional Middle Class?

Perhaps an even more important article!
Perhaps I spoke too soon; the following is another important article on the fate of Israel if it does not act quickly to close the socio-economic gaps in our society. Any one who makes a living in Israel knows how hard it is to "keep your head above the water" because of the high taxes and expensive goods and real estate.
The reasons are many, but we can start with the fact that such a huge portion of able-bodied men and women simply refuse to work for a living, relying instead on us working people to support them, their families, and even their parochial institutions!
One of the most important articles i've read in months!
This should be a must read for every pro-israel advocate, israeli diplomatic, and school/university pupil in israel!

Ashkenazi Hassidm vs Mizrachi Haredim?!
Hassim vs Haredim!? Racism among the haredim in Israel is nothing new, but it appears to be turning violent. Once again, we need to call for the the State to act swiftly to reign and integrate in the Haredi sector, which is becoming increasingly belligerent, violent, intolerant, and subversive.
More Doomsday predictions
I think the author is right, Western immigration will not prevent Israel's socio-economic decline. Only forcing the huge section of able-bodied people- who continue to refuse to work, to join the work force, coupled with revamping the education system from the ground up, will really be the only polices to save us from decline. If Israel becomes a banana republic, it won't just be poor, it will be destroyed or collapse. I think that too much emphasis is put on our military survival and not enough in our socio-economic survival. If the demographic data that the author is basing his assumptions us correct (the data is debatable), then once the Haredim and Arabs become a majority the country will start a steep decline until it ceases to exist. Only drastic measures in labor expansion, mandatory national service for all citizens, and an excellent UNIFIED educational curriculum/system will prevent the country from collapsing...
